With the help of the scaled factorial moment method, we have studied the interaction of 24Mg-AgBr at the energy 4.5 A GeV. The whole process involves determination of the intermittency index (aq), which ultimately measures the variable lq (lq=(aq+1)/q). The occurrence of a minimum in the variation of lq as a function of q suggests a non-thermal phase transition and different regime of particle production during the hadronisation process.
